Breast awareness: how to self-examine your breasts
We need to pay more attention to women’s health and help prevent the development of non-transmittable diseases, such as cancer.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women as well as the most common cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Breast cancer is a disease that usually occurs in women, but approximately 1 percent of breast cancers occur in men, too. It has surpassed lung cancer as the most commonly diagnosed cancer. By 2040, the incidence rate of breast cancer will increase by more than one-third, and, in reality, this means more than 3 million new cases, each year.
