I am Pekka Pulkkinen and I’m the person behind Edufication. My mission is to make learning easy and accessible for everyone. I’m an expert in co-development and creative business, with a passion for creative thinking and modern solutions for education. In my free time, I love to be outside in nature, skiing in winter and running in summer.
At Edufication, in addition to creating high quality courses for education export, we want to help universities, businesses and communities benefit from the latest developments in pedagogy and digital methods for online teaching and training. I am Teppo and at Edufication, I handle the development of our digital solutions, services, marketing and eCommerce business. I also coordinate the technical development and user experience (UX) of our web service as Product Owner. So, I am constantly working at the cross-roads of technical developers, sales, marketing and customers – and I find it really enjoyable! Previously, I’ve worked in digital commerce development, and product, digital services & brand management roles for international companies.
My education trained me to become a Master of Engineering (specialized in UX, user-centered design, project and sales management). In my free time, I enjoy long walks in the beautiful Finnish nature, playing piano, and spending time with my family.
I’m Anna-Maija Hunter and I work as a customer and production coordinator within the Edufication team. I’m the link between the customer and production teams. I make sure everyone is speaking the same language and that the right things happen at the right time. I class myself as a practical optimist. It’s my instinct to see opportunities where others do not, and I always strive to find a working solution even to tough problems. My background is in sales, project management, marketing and customer engagement and I can’t even imagine working in a profession that didn’t somehow involve dealing with people. As a real people person, it’s no surprise that most of my free time is spent with family and friends, I even co-own a secondhand store with a couple of them. If I have any extra energy, I burn it off by fencing, although I’m terrible at it.
I’m Daria, an environmental engineer, climate educator and ecoinfluencer. You can follow me on social media @daria_check. I’m a passionate communicator with a mission to educate people about current and future social and environmental issues.
At Edufication, I work as a production assistant, where I juggle all the different parts of the production model to make sure that all the elements of courses are completed and published. My goal is to make sure that customers get the best experience on their Edufication journey.
I’ve fallen in love with the Finnish way of life, and with the amount of flexibility and freedom we have here, so much so that I’ve joined a project to share these ideas around the globe. In my free time, I love growing veggies in my permaculture garden!
