DIGITAL SERVICE ACCESSIBILITY STATUS

The XAMK web service at https://www.edufication.com/does not fully comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA criteria. Some issues are related to third-party add-ons.

Corrections will be made to align with requirements during the year 2024. These corrective actions will be based on a review of the web service’s functionalities and redefinition.

1. Perceivable:

Alternative texts are missing for payment methods.
Videos lack captions.
There is no alternative for video content.
Contrast is insufficient for course category boxes and text on the homepage.
Text size is defined using a CSS property that conflicts with important definitions, potentially preventing text enlargement in some browsers.

The shopping cart popup is not accessible.
Focus disappears when navigating with the keyboard.
Payment methods lack accessible texts.
Icons for adding to the wishlist lack accessible names.

  • 2.4.4 Link purpose (in context) (A)

3. Understandable:

Some links lack title attributes.
The currency selection button lacks a submit button.

  • 3.2.3 Consistent navigation (AA)
  • 3.3.2 Labels and instructions (A)

4. Robust:

ID attributes on the same page are not unique.
Hidden ARIA attributes have focus elements.
The form lacks accessible names for currency selection.
Icons for adding to the wishlist lack accessible names.

  • 4.1.1 Parsing (Level A)
  • 4.1.2 Name, role, value (Level A)
