Welcome to the course Sustainability tools: Ecolabels!

The learning objective of this Micro Course is to understand how the decisions we all make are related to sustainable development and how different ecolabels help with this. After completing the course, you are able to answer these questions: How can I contribute to sustainable development? How can I tell if my consumer choises are sustainable? What types of labels are there? What have I learned?

Content

The Micro Course consists of 4 modules which include videos, links, activating tasks and quizzes. Module 1-3 give information on sustainability tools and examples of ecolabels and module 4 includes a quiz to help you test your learning. The workload of this Micro Course is around 1-5 hours, depending on your previous knowledge and understanding of sustainable development.

Instructor

The instructor is Liisa Routaharju, Senior Lecturer and Environmental Health Inspector.

Assessment

Feel free to engage with this course driven by your own curiosity, as strict assessments aren’t the focus. Your feedback at the end will be much appreciated to showcase your learning journey – it’s worth noting that certificates won’t be issued.
