Welcome to the “Open source communities and networks” microlearning course!

Course content

The microlearning module consists of three lecture videos that serve as a brief introduction to open source communities.

Upon completing the course:

• You will gain a basic understanding of open source communities and networks.
• You will understand their significance and recognize different open source community operating methods and structures.

Instructor

The instructor is Timo Väliharju from COSS – the Finnish Centre for Open Systems and Solutions. Timo is a pioneer in open source business, a professional board member, and an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience.

Completion and assessment

This course is designed for independent study. There are no performance requirements, and no academic credits or certificates will be awarded. You are free to complete the sections and content that interest you.
